Good morning. Happy Monday. Hope you had a nice weekend. The Asian/Pacific markets closed mixed, but there were some sizable losses. China dropped 1.6%, India 2.4% and Indonesia 4.2%. Europe is down across the board. Futures here in the States indicate relatively large gap down for the cash market.

Good morning. Happy Friday. The Asian/Pacific markets closed mixed and with a bearish bias – India and Indonesia lost over 2%. Europe is currently mostly down, but losses aren’t bad. Prior to the employment numbers release, futures here in the States were flat.

Good morning. Happy Wednesday. The Asian/Pacific markets closed mixed. Europe is currently down across the board – many indexes are down at least 1%. Futures here in the States point towards a moderate gap down open for the cash market.

Good morning. Happy Tuesday. The Asian/Pacific market closed mostly up; there were a few 1% winners. Europe is currently up across the board; London is up over 2%. Futures here in the States point towards a positive open for the cash market that will recapture about half of yesterday’s move off the intraday high.

Good morning. Happy Friday and everything else. The last two weeks have been the slowest two-week stretch I can ever remember. Individual days have been slower, but two straight weeks of small ranges, low volatility, low volume etc. I’m ready for this year to be over.
