\n The Asian\/Pacific<\/strong> markets closed mixed and little changed. Japan and Australia moved up; Hong Kong and the Philippines moved down. Europe, Africa and the Middle East<\/strong> currently lean to the upside. Greece is up 2%; Kenya, Spain and Portugal are up more than 1%; France, Germany, South Africa, Finland and Italy are also doing well. Russia is down 1%; the UK, Poland and Hungary are down. Futures in the States<\/strong> point towards a positive open for the cash market. <\/span>
\nThe dollar is up. Oil and copper are down. Gold and silver are down. Bonds are down. <\/span>
