\n The Asian\/Pacific<\/strong> markets closed mostly up. Hong Kong, India, Taiwan, Austria, Malaysia, Singapore and the Philippines posted the biggest gains. Europe, Africa and the Middle East<\/strong> currently lean to the upside but are mostly close to unchanged. Poland, Turkey, South Africa and Finland are up; Kenya and Italy are down. The futures in the States<\/strong> point towards a positive open for the cash market. <\/span>
