\n The Asian\/Pacific<\/strong> markets closed mostly up. Japan, Hong Kong, South Korea, Italy, Taiwan, Singapore and the Philippines did very well; New Zealand and Australia were weak. Europe, Africa and the Middle East<\/strong> are currently mostly up. Denmark, France, Turkey, Germany, South Africa, Norway, Spain and Italy are up the most; Poland and Russia are down. Futures in the States<\/strong> point towards a big gap up open for the cash market. <\/span>
