Happy Tuesday.<br \/>\nThe Asian\/Pacific markets closed mixed. China lost 2.6% &#8211; the only index to move more than 1%. Europe is currently mixed \u2013 there are no 1% movers.<br \/>\nFutures here in the States suggest a gap up open for the cash market. &#8230;<!--more--><br \/>\nHere\u2019s the 15-min SPX chart. It rallied 55 points in 5 days. That doesn\u2019t seem sustainable for very much longer until\u2026<br \/>\n<img src=\"http:\/\/leavittbrothers.com\/before-the-open\/images\/spx082509-1.png\" alt=\"\" \/><br \/>\n\u2026you look at the 60-min and realize the index didn\u2019t take many breaks between 875 and 1020.<br \/>\n<img src=\"http:\/\/leavittbrothers.com\/before-the-open\/images\/spx082509-2.png\" alt=\"\" \/><br \/>\nI don\u2019t think yesterday changed anything. The trend is up, but there are several warning signs. I\u2019m not exactly going all in. Perhaps I\u2019m being too conservative, but I\u2019d rather be conservative right now and not make as much as I should on the way up than aggressive and lose a bunch if all the warnings play out. This is me.
