Happy Wednesday.<br \/>\nThe Asian\/Pacific markets closed mostly up; China gained almost 2%. Europe is currently down across the board; there are a couple 1% losers. Futures here in the States are down slightly. &#8230;<!--more--><br \/>\nThis week has been pretty uneventful so far. A gap up and rally Monday got sold into; the gap was filled, and the market closed down slightly. A gap up and rally Tuesday got sold into, and the market closed up slightly. Other than the opening minutes last Friday, the SPX has traded in a 15-point range. Here&#8217;s the 15-min SPY chart. Yesterday&#8217;s gap and last Friday&#8217;s gap remain upfilled.<br \/>\n<img src=\"http:\/\/leavittbrothers.com\/before-the-open\/images\/spy082609.png\" alt=\"\" \/><br \/>\nMy attitude\/opinions\/trading haven&#8217;t changed. The trend is up, so I favor the long side, but there are enough warnings to keep me in conservative mode. Trade the good ones only, and take partial profits when available.
