Happy Friday.<br \/>\nIt\u2019s been a pretty uneventful week. After a big options expiration run up last week, the bulls haven\u2019t budged. They keep holding their ground. Dips get bought, and this week, rallies have gotten sold. Here\u2019s the SPX 10-min chart. Other than the opening minutes last Friday and a brief move down yesterday morning, the index has been range bound for 5 days. &#8230;<!--more--><br \/>\n<img src=\"http:\/\/leavittbrothers.com\/before-the-open\/images\/spx082809.png\" alt=\"\" \/><br \/>\nBanks are trading constructively.<br \/>\n<img src=\"http:\/\/leavittbrothers.com\/before-the-open\/images\/bkx082809.png\" alt=\"\" \/><br \/>\nRetailers continues to do well.<br \/>\n<img src=\"http:\/\/leavittbrothers.com\/before-the-open\/images\/retail082809.png\" alt=\"\" \/><br \/>\nEven the home builders just made a new high 2 days ago.<br \/>\n<img src=\"http:\/\/leavittbrothers.com\/before-the-open\/images\/xhb082809.png\" alt=\"\" \/><br \/>\nChina is resting. We\u2019re about to find out if we follow China or if China follows us.<br \/>\n<img src=\"http:\/\/leavittbrothers.com\/before-the-open\/images\/ssec082809.png\" alt=\"\" \/><br \/>\nThe trend is up, but we\u2019re heading into what is typically the worst month of the year.
