Good morning. Happy Wednesday.
\nThis is going to be kept short because my computer keeps freezing up on me. At times it\u2019s taking 30 seconds for a single page to load.\u00a0 \ud83d\ude41
\nThe Asian\/Pacific markets closed mixed \u2013 there were no 1% movers.
\nEurope is currently mostly up \u2013 there\u2019s one 1% gainer. …
\nFutures here in the States suggest a slightly up open for the cash market. This comes off a day the market gapped up and traded in a tight range all day.
\nThe losses from last Tuesday\u2019s big down day have now been recovered. The bulls got a little scare\u2026a handful of decent shorts lined up, but they were only good for a couple days\u2026it was certainly a reason to trim underperforming longs\u2026yet here we are a week later with higher highs and higher lows still in place. The S&P is up 5 for Sep and is only 15 points from its high. That\u2019s not bad. Here\u2019s the daily.

\nAnd here\u2019s the weekly. We have a rising wedge (bearish) butting up against a very thin trading zone where very little volume took place (there won\u2019t be many traders looking to get out even within the zone).
