The Asian/Pacific markets traded quietly today. India, Taiwan and Singapore posted gains while Japan and New Zealand posted losses. Europe, Africa and the Middle East are currently little changed. Poland, Germany and Bulgaria are up; Turkey and the Czech Republic are down. Futures in the States point towards a gaps down open for the cash market.

Huntington Ingalls Industries (HII +0.50%) won a $2.8 billion contract from the U.S. Navy for overhauling the USS George Washington refueling complex in Newport News, Virginia that is expected to be completed by Aug, 2021.
