Good morning. Happy Thursday.
The Asian/Pacific markets closed mostly up. China, Hong Kong, South Korea, Taiwan, Indonesia and the Philippines did the best while Japan and Thailand lagged. Europe, Africa and the Middle East currently lean to the downside. Turkey and the UAE are up, but Greece, Russia, Kenya, Spain and the Czech Republic are down. Futures in the States point towards a positive open for the cash market.
The dollar is down. Bitcoin is down. Oil is flat, and copper is up. Gold and silver are up. Bonds are down.

Allegion PLC (ALLE -0.49%) said it sees a $25 million to $50 million write-down in Q4 due to the U.S. Tax Act.
J.B. Hunt Transport Services (JBHT +0.48%) may move lower intially this morning after it forecast Q4 EPS of 77 cents to 82 cents, well below consensus of $1.02.
Homestreet (HMST -0.52%) stock holder Roaring Blue Lion Capital Management, who reported a 5.44% stake in the company, said it met with Homestreet’s board on Dec 21 to suggest operational changes to boost the stock’s value.
Argo Group International Holdings Ltd (AGII -0.49%) was upgraded to ‘Outperform’ from ‘Market Perform’ at Keefe, Bruyette & Woods with a target price of $71.
Remark Holdings (MARK -0.80%) climbed over 5% in after-hours trading after it was mentioned positively in a Barron’s article.
Revolution Lighting Technologies (RVLT +4.75%) dropped almost 8% in after-hours trading after it reported preliminary Q4 revenue of $35 million, less than an October 26 forecast of $47 million to $50 million.
