The Asian/Pacific markets closed mostly up. Japan, China, Hong Kong, South Korea, Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand did very well; the Philippines were weak. Europe, Africa and the Middle East are currently mostly up. The UK, France, Turkey, Germany, Russia, South Africa, France, Norway, Spain, Italy and Austria are doing very well. Futures in the States point towards a moderate gap up open for the cash market.
