The Asian/Pacific markets did very well. Japan, China, Hong Kong, South Korea, India and Taiwan posted solid gains. Europe, Africa and the Middle East currently lean to the upside. Poland, Russia, Turkey, South Africa, Israel and Saudi Arabia are leading while Denmark, the UAE and Norway are weak. Futures in the States point towards a moderate gap up open for the cash market.

BrightView Holdings (BV -2.16%) rallied 10% in after-hours trading after it forecast 2019 revenue of $2.40 billion to $2.47 billion, the midpoint above consensus of $2.43 billion.

The Fed is not saying much, but the end of the year may be the end of the road for stock investing. HOLDING LOTS OF CASH and smiling.
