Before the Open (Dec 3)

Good morning. Happy Monday. Hope you had a good weekend.
The Asian/Pacific markets are posting big gains. Japan, China, Hong Kong, South Korea, Taiwan, Australia, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Thailand and the Philippines are up at least 1%; some are up 2% or 3%. Europe, Africa and the Middle East are currently mostly up. The UK, Poland, Germany, Greece, Russia, Germany, South Africa, Finland, Norway, Hungary, Spain, the Netherlands, Italy, Portugal, Austria and Sweden are up more than 1%. Futures in the States point towards a huge gap up open for the cash market.

Noodles & Co. (NDLS -6.06%) was upgraded to ‘Outperform’ from ‘Sector Perform’ at RBC Capital Markets with a price target of $12.
International Seaways (INSW +0.31%) may move lower initially this morning after holder Paulson & Co announced that it had cut its stake in the company to 9.97% from 10.57%.

Dollar Tree (NASDAQ:DLTR) +6.2% seeing minimal tariff impacts.
GameStop (NYSE:GME) -12.2% AH slashing its profit outlook.
HP (NYSE:HPQ) +1.3% AH driven by its personal systems unit.
TD Bank (NYSE:TD) -0.4% with gains in real-estate lending.
VMware (NYSE:VMW) +9.1% AH as cloud sales jumped.
Workday (NYSE:WDAY) +9.5% AH raising guidance.

  1. spx November 7th lower top was 2815
    whether this is going to be a lower double top for a A B C corrective wave 2 is uncertain ATM
    Lower double tops are common in downtrends
    lower double bottoms are common in up trends
    a little higher than 2815 is possible

  2. I am still long and strong. I did sell a lot on open and bought it all back an hour and a half later.
    Trade what you do best.
    I say be long or go wrong.
    The markets are closed Wednesday in honor of George Bush.
