Before the Open (Aug 28)

Good morning. Happy Friday.
It’s been a pretty uneventful week. After a big options expiration run up last week, the bulls haven’t budged. They keep holding their ground. Other than the opening minutes last Friday and a brief move down yesterday morning, the index has been range bound for 5 days. …

Banks are trading constructively.

Retailers continues to do well.

Even the home builders just made a new high 2 days ago.

China is resting. We’re about to find out if we follow China or if China follows us.

The trend is up, but we’re heading into what is typically the worst month of the year. My bias remains to the upside, but I’m not being super aggressive.

  1. Thanks Jason for you’r honest efforts. So many analysts have been calling tops and recommending short strategies and stearing traders wrong , it’s tough to see the market for what it is when it doesn’t make alot of sense. Keep up the good work , David
