Thanks Mark.
futures wise
spx the strongest,so buy spx at bottoms if you dare to go long
dow leading to downside being followed fantasy growth nas 100 market leaders that did a fantasy commodity style exhuastion high top—what goes up fast comes down fAST
so other markets are peeling of from the spx to the downside—-the is called market divergance
will the spx be the last solder to fall
Surprised he did not tie the drop in oil to the reduction in new highs and increase in new lows.
Watch oil and/or commodities – that will telegraph initial weakness in that sector.
Then with a lag the reduced input costs of manufacturers Chemicals / refineries will show expanded margins – The with a greater lad the consumer will find savings in their checking account.
Older people will save and younger will spend.
Very few commodity declines have been this substantial.
To not link it to the new highs and lows of such large sectores and call the market weak is a glaring omission IMO.
The industrials will ultimately show the benefit of increased consumer end user demand – thus Buffets purchase of precision cast – he looks to the future and anticipates the long run – very wise.
