These are just current budget deficit. There is the ongoing structural deficit of about 54 trillion due to SS and Medicare/aid. These are the deficits that will ruin any possibility of getting spending under control. Eventually we are like Japan, a zombie economy where debt routinely exceeds tax revenues, with no possible change. This is the LIE that president perpetuates when he talks about national spending.
