This graph is useless without explaining the vertical axis – we know it is a ratio, but it could indicate number of share transactions, total shares in the transactions or the value of share transactions. PLEASE EXPLAIN !!
NB…it’s the ratio of # of shares sold vs. # of shares bought. It’s not a perfect ratio because there’s a big difference between buying 1,000 shares of a $100 stock and selling 1,000 shares of a $20 stock. Still, according to the CEO of TrimTabs it’s a fairly reliable indicator which so far isn’t working.
