Casino Stocks

Casino stocks have surged recently; many are likely to begin continuation moves very soon. Here are a few ideas.

  1. Jason, I would like to see you concentrate on stocks that have at least a 1.00 ATR..If you can give those with ATR from 1.00 to 3-4 etc, those are in my opinion better for swing trading. And it would be great for you to show what the ATR is on on the charts..
I notice that on these casino stocks you show a red line which you told me are entry points. If you are able to show entry points, why not show “target” and “stop loss”
Also, I was visting my son today and got on his lap-top and got to your site..From his laptop I see a completely different site than when I log on to your site from my home computer.. Can you explain why??
In regard to the Naked Options site. Since he only trades call options what happens should the market turn and start to correct? I am seriosly considering subscribing to his site and have Trade King auto trade my account and that is why I need to know how he handles markets that are going south…
    Thanks,

    1. Hi Stan,
I look for good patterns that have decent risk/reward. If a $10 stock can move 1.5 points, I’m interested as long as my stop is appropriate.
You ask for ATR. What ATR? How many days? ATR over the last 1 day or 2 days or 10 days?
I don’t put any indicators on the charts…no MACD, RSI, Stoch, etc. I keep them simple and clean, but that doesn’t mean you can’t put them on yourself. Many LB members take my picks and funnel them through their own set of criteria…they recreate the charts before making their final decisions.
I know the site sometimes looks different on different computers. My only explanation is you son is using a different browser or different browser version. It could be the difference between a Mac and a PC…or between Firefox, Internet Explorer, Chrome etc…or different version of any of these.
Naked Options Trader absolutely does long puts, but since the trend is up, they’re doing long calls right now. If the market rolls over, you can bet they’ll they play the downside with puts.

    1. RichE…what makes sense doesn’t always happen…in fact I’d say what doesn’t make sense happens more often. Short term anything goes. In know consumers are weak, but the group can still pop again for a few days or week.
