To hammer home the point that money often rotates from stock to stock to stock within a group, here’s a stock rotation video with silver stocks.

Thanks again Jason.
What time reference to you use to decide that a particular sector is strong relative to its peers? For example, my charting software indicates that the following sectors are strongest for the periods indicated:
One month:
1 Medical practitioners
2 Apparel stores
3 Departmemt stores
4 Sporting goods stores
5 Electronic equipment
6 Personal compuiters
7 Recreational goods
One week:
1 Internet software & services
2 Medical practitioners
3 Departmemt stores
4 Semiconductor – memory chips
5 Hospitals
6 Building materials wholesale
7 Tobacco products
Two days:
1 Internet software & services
2 Silver
3 Music & video stores
4 General entertainment
5 Major airlines
6 Semiconductor – memory chips
7 Drugs – generic
There are many sources that identify what groups have been up the most of the last X days and weeks, but I don’t get that scientific with it. I just make casual observations every day. I note what’s up and then I look inside those groups. For example if the semis are up nicely one day, I’ll look inside the group for some good set ups. If I find some, great. If not, I move on. A few days or week later the semis may act well again, so I look again. Once I find some good set ups, I always keep looking in the same group for more.
Thanks.
