Today I’m doing an update of my State of the Market series. There are lots of cross-currents out there, so the near term is not obvious.
Don’t forget our holiday special. One good trades pays for your membership for the entire year.

very nice analysis. . .
Well done Jason.
If there is a gap up Monday I am selling into it. It might be a short trade but the odds are in my favor.

The indicators appear to move with the indicies . Could you explain in a bit more detail what you look for in the indicators in order to predict what should happen ? , thanks , Dave
Yes David they often move with the market. It’s when they don’t that I take note. If the market moves up, the but AD line or new highs fails to also move up, a warning is issued. If the market moves up and the new lows also move up, something is wrong.
When the indicators move as they should, they aren’t very useful. It’s when they start acting different than you’d expect that warnings are given.
Hi Jason.
I enjoy your analysis as usual.
But the piece on FCX seems like you were looking for confirmatin on what you were already thinking.
FCX has fallen, but SCCO is at almost all time high.
Some commentators explain the moves of FCX/SCCO as a move out from a stock that doesn’t score anymore as a Copper follower and into one that it still does.
I remember years ago when you guys were used to do wonderful sectors analysis.
This (FCX/SCCO) seems something you would have analysed deeper through that “sector analysis” eyeglasses.
Ciao,
Stefano.
