Good morning. Happy Friday. The Asian/Pacific markets closed mostly down today. Japan dropped 2.4% and Indonesia 1.7%. There were no big winners. Europe is currently mixed. Austria is posting a decent gain; there are no big losers. Futures here in the States point towards a gap up open for the cash market.

Good morning. Happy Thursday. The Asian/Pacific markets closed mixed and with a bearish slant. Japan rallied 1.3%; no other index moved 1%. Europe is currently mostly down. Austria is up 1%; France, Germany, Amsterdam, Switzerland and London are down. Futures here in the States are flat.

Europe is currently mostly down, but no market is 1% moved from its unchanged level. Futures here in the States point towards a flat open for the cash market.
