Good morning. Happy Monday. Hope you had a nice weekend. The Asian/Pacific markets closed mixed and with an upward bias. Hong Kong gain 1.4%; South Korea lost 1.2%. Europe is currently mostly up. Futures here in the States point towards a moderate gap up open for the cash market.

Good morning. Happy Friday. The Asian/Pacific markets closed mostly up; Hong Kong and Singapore gained more than 1.7%. Europe is currently up across the board (except for Norway). Futures here in the States point towards a solid gap up open for the cash market.

Good morning. Happy Thursday. The Asian/Pacific markets closed mostly down – there were several 1% losers. Europe is currently mostly down – the German and Swiss markets are down more than 1%. Futures here in the States point towards a gap down which will open the indexes near yesterday’s lows.

Good morning. Happy Wednesday. The Asian/Pacific markets closed mixed and with a bearish slant. Only the Taiwan market moved more than 1% (it dropped 1.7%). Europe is currently mixed. There are no significant upside or downside movers. Futures here in the States point towards a gap up open for the cash market.

Good morning. Happy Friday. The Asian/Pacific markets closed mostly up – China dropped almost 1%, but Hong Kong, Indonesia, South Korea and Taiwan each moved up almost 2%. Europe is currently mostly down – there are no standout winners or losers. Futrues here in the States point toward a flat open for the cash market.

Europe is currently mostly up, but gains aren’t big. Futures here in the States point toward a flat open for the cash market.
